I wanted to cook dinner tonight but I was feeling very lazy and still sick from this cold. However, we had lentils in the house and a bunch of other things, and I happened to find a slow-cooker recipe for honey lentils.
This one is definitely a keeper. Make it for your gluten-free and vegetarian and vegan friends – it works for all of them! And if you eat cheese, a smidgen of grated parmesan adds a nice tangy complement to the sweet and earthy flavors in this dish.
