letter closure

Some days I tire of being the eternal optimist, especially when you can be
such a finely-honed point of sarcasm, negativity and bitterness.  You
have, as always, every right to be these things, but it makes my crusade
to get through this and come out as friends on the other side that much
more daunting.  Still, my intentions are and always have been good ones.

I suppose that is why the road to hell is paved with them.
