i’m a geek because i like they might be giants. well, because of other things too, but that’s apparently a biggie. i found this out tonight from shaenon, whom i met on the ferry-ride home with jared, and … the other guy at our table whose name i didn’t catch. the four of us played “guillotine” and i was my usual quiet-in-new-groups self but i had a marvelous time. jared drove me home from the ferry terminal in larkspur and told me the story of how he came to be in san francisco, and i later retold all of this to chad at dinner while bouncing happily in my seat. chad just watched and listened, grinning across the table at my goofy expression.

i think i may take the ferry home more often.
