saving the (shaky) world

just got home. we went to chris and clay’s apartment at noon on saturday to play d&d (yes, that’s dungeons & dragons, more specifically third edition). gameplay started at 13:30 and ended about 02:00 this morning. we had fun. i always forget just how good a storyteller chad is until i get to play in another of his campaigns.

and no, we didn’t feel the quake at 01:36. it was actually a moderate one – 5.2! – and people felt it in as closeby as sausalito, so you’d think we would have felt something. but no, nothing. i was worried about zen but when we got home, she was fine, and nothing had shaken off the walls or anything.

i’m barely coherent. off to bed, to sleep in …
