ferry-weather friend

defying the possibility of heat-stroke, sarah and i have decided to ferry back to the north bay instead of bus. the ferry is a wonderful invention, although i suppose it doesn’t count as an invention since floaty things that carry people across bodies of water were invented many, many years ago. at any rate, the ferry is delightful, especially on hot days, because you can sit on the outer decks with the wind assaulting your skin and think, i can’t swim.

and to soothe such paranoia, overpriced beer is available. we shall sip, gaze out at the gauzy blue, and quote “prufrock” at each other. aah, the life of the pseudo-yuppie.
